I’ve started a second blog specifically for my very active dream-life. If you want to check it out, here it is:

I’m one of those people who over-thinks everything. Nothing in my life is without the unprovoked scrutiny that is my mind. For now, the victim is the very same observer.

Ollie by The Brobecks (Dallon Weekes)
This phrase in itself requires a bit of explanation. I don’t think all music is equal, but rather to have music is always better than not to have music. I’m not sure I view music like other people do; in fact I’m inclined to believe the contrary. Where as some people listen to what a song sounds like or some listen to what a song has to say, I’m not so contented so easily. Personally, it all started with the Beatles. I studied their music for hours and end by learning how each song was composed, the story behind each song, the subtle errors - the lives of the Beatles. From there, I branched out into other bands, other genres, in some sense, piecing together parts of these musicians lives. Just as fans everywhere are slaves to a trend like a television show or a band, my obsession was music as a whole. Little-by-little, I realized that it wasn’t just a collection of lives I could assemble, but the possibilities of a general life. From love to hate, a day in the life to a trip through the mind, this music was the story of humanity at it’s best and it’s worse. From then on, I made a conscious decision to accept music in all its forms. Just as life is unfulfilled without a full array of experience and emotion, music is the snapshot, and just because the time was bad or irritating, doesn’t mean I should ignore it from my life. I have no desire to imposed this convoluted idealistic standard on the innocent, (hate what you will), but this is me.
